Driver dies after losing control of his truck

Buffalo Police are investigating a fatal accident at Skillen Street and Military Road Tuesday morning.

Accident investigators say a 56-year-old man from Buffalo was driving on Skillen Street when he lost control of his truck. He crossed over the road and hit a fire hydrant, then hit a building in the first block of Skillen Street.

Officers say the man was taken to Kenmore Mercy Hospital in an ambulance. He died at the hospital.

Investigators are looking to see if the driver suffered a medical issue while driving.
