Two people were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital early Friday morning. The car they were in crashed into a tree in Stafford.
The crash happened baout 2:45 a.m. on Fargo Road.
We've learned the passenger was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital with a head injury. A woman was rushed by ambulance to Strong with a leg injury.
Our crew at the scene reported one of the people had to be rescued from the car.
The car had serious front end damage and the airbags went off.
At one point, there was concern a third person might have gone missing in the woods, because the woman said that person was driving. The search for that person was called off after about an hour. It's unclear if there ever was a third person in the car.
No word how this crash happened.
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office will continue to investigate.
