Driver arrested for manslaughter

The man who hit a utility pole while driving in the Town of Centerville last month has been arrested for manslaughter.

According to New York State Police, all five people in the car were injured. Jasmine Uveino-Braymiller, 15, was killed in the accident.

Yesterday, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Thomas Marion, 22, for first degree vehicular manslaughter, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawfully dealing with a child.

Police say Marion, who was 21 at the time of the accident, had a blood alcohol content of .09%, just over the legal limit of .08%.
