Have an old prom dress laying around? Give it a new home at the Colvin Cleaners!

Colvin Cleaners is celebrating its 13th Annual "Gowns for Prom" Program and are currently accepting donations.

Organizers say they are "in need of several thousand gowns and accessories, such as shoes and purses."

On April 9th, 10th, and 11th, young ladies from nearly 90 high schools throughout Western New York will be invited to Shea's to pick out their dream dress.

Interested in donating? Dress donations will be accepted at Allstate Offices, Colvin Cleaners, Reeds Jenss and Erie County DMV offices.

The event's purpose is to provide a special garment for girls "who otherwise could not afford a gown for the prom." The girls will have their selected dress fitted, altered, dry cleaned and delivered for free in time for prom.
