The dip in temperatures probably had you grabbing your winter coat this morning, but for some kids in Western New York, bundling up wasn't an option. That's why Colvin Cleaners is once again asking Western New Yorkers to go through their closets, and donate to "Coats 4 Kids" this year.
This is the 22nd year of the program, which has provided thousands of coats for needy children. Organizers are asking for everything from jackets to hats, gloves and scarves for all ages, from toddlers to young adults.
From now until December 1st, donations can be made at the Colvin Cleaners at 2375 Elmwood Ave. in Kenmore, or at Allstate Insurance agencies and Fidelis Care.
