UPDATE 7/19/2017:  A GoFundMe account has been started to help the family.  https://www.gofundme.com/help-the-darconte-family

Disabled U.S. Army veteran Dale D'Arconte and his family are pleading for help.  A flash flood, last week, in the Wyoming County Town of Bennington damaged his Graff Road house so badly that it was condemned and deemed unlivable by Wyoming County.

Insurance won't pay for the estimated $100,000 in repairs, telling the family they did not have flood insurance - even though they do not live in a flood zone.

Water damaged the 1850's foundation, destroyed hot water / drinking water tanks and furnace, ruined personal belongings and caused the floors to shift. The family is looking for contractors, a dumpster and money to help them.

Three people lived in the home including Dale, his wife Debra, and 19-year-old Jordon who is autistic.
