The Deputy Mayor of Williamsville has pleaded guilty to charges related to a DWI crash last September.
Christopher DuQuin appeared in Clarence Town Court Tuesday, where he admitted to driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. The charge of leaving the scene of an accident was dismissed.
Amherst Police say DuQuin was driving drunk when he hit a parked car on North Ellicott Street in the Village of Willliamsville back on September 17.
The case was moved out of Williamsville due to a potential conflict of interest.
DuQuin has taken an indefinite leave of absence from his role with the village. His license has also been revoked for six months and an ignition interlock device must be installed in his car for one year.
