A former Niagara County sheriff’s deputy charged in connection with a deadly crash in Cambria has pleaded not guilty.
Investigators say James Bissell III ran a stop sign with his emergency lights on in October when he T-boned an SUV, which rolled several times before landing on its roof.
The driver of that vehicle, 61-year-old Glenn Annalora of Lockport, was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His wife, 58-year-old Mary Annalora, was also seriously hurt in the crash. She plans to file a civil suit.
