The wife of the man who escaped custody in early March is facing criminal charges after deputies say she helped her husband hide.

Chautauqua County Deputies arrested Kelsey Raynor on Tuesday when she appeared in Charlotte Town Court for an unrelated matter.

Investigators say Raynor assisted Jacob Raynor by hiding him, cutting his handcuffs off and providing him with other assistance to avoid capture until March 14.

Jacob Raynor escaped custody on March 7 after he was arraigned in court on charges of Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine.

According to deputies, Kelsey Raynor was also involved in the making of methamphetamine prior to her husband's escape.
