This weekend, deputies with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office will mount up to collect donations for the Food Bank of WNY.
Look for officers on horseback from 9 a.m. until noon at Market in the Square and Southgate Plaza in West Seneca on Saturday. Deputies will be collecting perishable and non-perishable foods, as well as cash donations.
Items needed most include:
- Turkeys or hams
- Canned vegetables
- Canned soups
- Tomato sauce
- Pasta
- Bags or boxes of rice
- Tuna fish
- Peanut butter
- Diapers
- Infant formula
