Deputies need help identifying body

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office needs your help identifying a body.

Deputies say the body was discovered back on June 13 in the water near the Coast Guard Station on Scott Avenue in Youngstown.

Investigators say it's unclear how long the body was in the water.

Deputies have released a physical description of the unknown male hoping it will help solve this mystery.

Description:

  • Estimated Age: 40-60
  • Race: White
  • Sex: Male
  • Weight: 152 pounds
  • Height: 73 inches (6 foot 1 inches)
  • Hair: Brown, straight, male patterned baldness
  • Other Distinctive Characteristics: Old rib fracture, right fifth rib
  • Fingerprints and DNA are on file
