UPDATE: The Livingston County Sheriff's Office has arraigned the woman who was in the car with a man who they say pulled a gun on a police officer near SUNY Geneseo.

Sheriff Thomas Dougherty posted a tweet Thursday evening, saying, "The passenger, Sandra Brown, has been arraigned in CAP court and held on $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond on multiple charges lodged against her."

SUNY Geneseo canceled classes and activities as police search for the man who pulled a gun on police.  The university is asking all members of the on-campus college community to remain sheltered in place until further notice.

Deputies say Wednesday afternoon, 49-year-old Clyde Morgan from North Carolina got out of his car and pulled out a gun during a traffic stop.

Shots were fired but the officer was not hurt.

The sheriff's office says it will release more information on the charges against Brown Friday morning.

Morgan is considered armed and dangerous and has a violent criminal history.
