The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has identified a body recovered from the Lower Niagara River on March 21st in Youngstown, N.Y.
52-year-old Gabor Vojnic-Kortmis of Toronto, Canada had been reported missing to Toronto Police in November 2017.
Relatives alerted police after Vojnic-Kortmis missed several appointments. Officials say his last whereabouts were documented in Niagara Falls, Ontario in early November. Some of his personal property was found near the area.
The Sheriff's Office has closed the case.
