The Erie County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit raided the lower apartment at 39 Page Street in Buffalo Tuesday evening.
They arrested 39-year-old Joel Scinta.
During the search of Scinta's home, the sheriff’s narcotics unit reportedly recovered about one ounce of cocaine, over eight ounces of marijuana, two digital scales and approximately $4,000.
Scinta was arrested and charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic, intent to sell, and criminal possession of marijuana.
He was also charged with two separate misdemeanors including endangering the welfare of a child (his 5-year-old daughter who lives with him was present) and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Scinta is at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment in Buffalo City Court Wednesday morning.
