An autopsy is being conducted to determine how a 6-month-old child in Batavia died.
Around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the emergency room of United Memorial Medical Center. The child was brought in around 45 minutes earlier by a relative from a home on Olyn Avenue and was pronounced dead on arrival.
The results of an autopsy being conducted on Monday by the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office are pending.
