Attorney General Eric Schneiderman held an urgent news conference on Thursday afternoon.
He’s warning Western New Yorkers about deadly Fentanyl-laced replica oxycodone pills. Investigators seized about 500 of the blue pills during a drug raid in Western New York.
The attorney general explained that the pills, which were purposely designed to look like prescription-strength oxycodone, are extremely dangerous as the unsuspecting user could be ingesting a potentially deadly quantity of fentanyl.
“These dealers were playing Russian Roulette with the lives of New Yorkers,” said Attorney General Schneiderman.
