The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly crash in the Town of Bethany.
The Sheriff's office reports 61-year-old Syed L. Rahman of Williamsville was traveling northbound on Route 63 in the Town of Bethany when his sedan crossed over the center line striking a Bethany Volunteer Fire Company ambulance which was traveling southbound.
Rahman was pronounced dead at the scene by the Genesee County Coroner.
The ambulance was returning to the Bethany Fire Department after responding to an earlier EMS call, no patient was inside.
The driver and two passengers of the ambulance were transported to United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, no word on their injuries or status is available at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
