A 42-year-old woman is dead after crashing a 2006 Jeep into a tree in the Town of Lyndon.
This happened Wednesday at about 6:30 p.m. Police say Karen Putt was traveling eastbound on Abbott Road when she crossed into the other lane. The Jeep left the road and collided with a tree.
Putt was pronounced dead at the scene. Medical examiners will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
