Darien Lake is now accepting applications for 1,800 open positions, with some jobs starting as early as April.
The 2017 season starts on May 6, and full daily operations begin on June 15. It closes for the season on October 1. Positions are available in the amusement park, water park, lodging, entertainment, retail and food service departments. These positions are in addition to the more than 800 workers who are rehired by the park from previous seasons.
Darien Lake offers free admission to the park to employees, essentially allowing them to use their employee ID as a season pass. They can also obtain free park tickets for relatives and friends.
The park will host a job fair at the Lodge on the Lake Hotel on Saturday, March 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Applicants may be interviewed for the following positions at the job fair: food service, park services, games, admissions, ride operations, lifeguards, rentals, warehouse, retail, hotel/campground, attractions, and security officers.
