Crews are keeping a close eye on a potential health hazard in Niagara Falls.
Mayor Paul Dyster has issued a bloom notice for Hyde Park Lake. Potentially hazardous blue-green algae was recently discovered near Gill Creek.
These blooms can be harmful to both people and animals, so everyone is being asked to steer clear until further notice.
