Another update by Buffalo Police has been provided as the search for 34-year-old Officer Craig Lehner continues.
Lieutenant Rinaldo announced this morning the mission has been designated a search and recovery, after being a search and rescue the past two days.
Officials say the search will move north today where there are slower currents, creating better conditions for the divers.
Winds are expected to peak at 1-2 pm, BPD will update on the status of the search around that time. They say safety is the "utmost concern."
