The Niagara Wheatfield School District is alerting families that their credit card information may have been compromised while they tried to purchase tickets to a school musical.
The District says several people reported their credit card information stolen after using the Showtix4U website to purchase tickets.
District officials recommend anyone who used Showtix4U check their credit card statements and report any problems to the ticketing company at 1-866-967-8167 or by emailing tickets@showtix4u.com.
Several local school districts are currently using Showtix4U to sell tickets for school related functions, including:
- Niagara Wheatfield High School's production of "Miss Saigon"
- West Seneca East Senior High School's production of "Godspell"
- Eden Junior/Senior High School's production of "Shrek: The Musical"
- Tonawanda Middle/High School's production of "Shrek: The Musical"
- Frontier High School's Jazz Ensemble
