Amherst police are investigating a deadly crash that ended with a woman killed. She has now been identified as 53 year old Zhixia Wan, from China.
The woman was hit by a van while walking along Smith Road around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
Police say the woman died at the scene of the crash.
Charges have not been filed against the driver of the van.
