A Village of Perry officer responded to his own home after his wife reported seeing a suspicious car in their driveway.  Based on the description, the officer was able to track the vehicle down.   According to police, the vehicle and the driver, Gregory Quintero Jr. and his passenger, Dawn Doan, both of Mt. Morris were allegedly looking for a relative that lived nearby. Further investigation revealed that Quintero had a suspended driver’s license. Doane also had a suspended drivers license.

Later in the morning, the same officer received a complaints of larcenies from vehicles near his residence. Stolen was a TOM TOM GPS, Designer Sun Glasses, Car Chargers and other miscellaneous items. All stolen items were located in the car Quintero and Doane were in when the officer stopped them, but the larcenies had not been reported yet. Both were arrested on warrants and charged with (2)counts each of Petit Larceny and (1)count each of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail to appear in court at a later date.

Perry Police want to remind everyone to lock their vehicles and if you see something suspicious, report it.
