An Erie County employee had to be treated with Narcan Wednesday, after the lab technician was exposed to a heroin/fentanyl drug.
According to the County Executive, the forensic lab technician became woozy and asked to be administered Narcan.
The initial police report indicated Buffalo firefighters had to administer the Narcan, but after further investigation, it was determined county employees administered the Narcan.
The employee is okay and back at work.
