BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — In New York State, hospitals, instrumental in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, are now set to receive a second round of financial help from the federal government. Four hospitals here in Western New York are among those medical facilities.

Erie County Medical Center will get $10.3-million. Buffalo General Medical Center will get just over $7-million. Kenmore Mercy Hospital gets $5-million. Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital will get nearly $4-million.

New York Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand helped to secure the new funding.
