WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — 84-year-old Donna Wylie of Williamsville is a big Easter fan. Every year, her family comes over to celebrate.

"She makes sure we have Easter baskets, there's fun and there's a family gathering, that's what it's all about. She always makes it special for us, this year we want to make it special for her," said Susan Klepadlo.

Since things are a bit different this year, her family surprised her and brought Easter to her driveway. They decorated their cars and drove by Donna in her Easter bonnet, waving and wishing her a Happy Easter.

"My mom's always brought a smile to our face, so today we wanted to bring one to her, even under these circumstances so Happy Easter to the best mom ever," said Sally Maglietto.

They even sang a little Easter song, Donna cheered and clapped along with her family.

"My God that was a surprise, an unexpected surprise," said Wylie.

The family continued their parade down to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital where they spread joy to local healthcare workers.

"It's just been a way to have the family get together the best way we can under the circumstances," said Klepadlo.
