So when can you expect your federal stimulus check?
The White House and Congress have signed off on a 2.2 trillion dollar federal aid package to help Americans struggling during this COVID-19 crisis.
The Internal Revenue Service says checks are expected to go out around April 6.
Those paper checks should then begin arriving by mail four or five weeks later.
Some people, who have signed up for direct deposit with the IRS, will get their money automatically put into their bank account in early April.
