The Annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in West Seneca will no longer go forward as concerns about public events and COVID-19 stretch further into the calendar year.
The Veterans Committee announced on Friday that the annual tradition, which would have been on Monday, May 25, can not go on as planned ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
"Protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our veterans and residents is of the utmost importance and serves as the reason for the cancellation."
