BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Postal workers must wear face masks in situations when social distancing is not possible. That's the message now coming from Karen Mazurkiewicz, head of Strategic Communications/USPS-Central PA & WNY Districts.
It was back on April 15 when Governor Andrew Cuomo issued an Executive Order, requiring all people in New York to wear face masks or face coverings in public. That order took effect on April 17.
This is the exact language from that order, "Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced he will issue an Executive Order requiring all people in New York to wear a mask or a face covering when out in public and in situations where social distancing cannot be maintained, such as on public transportation. The Executive Order will go into effect on Friday, April 17th."
