BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The border closure between the United States and Canada has been extended again due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
In a tweet Tuesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the restrictions to non-essential travel will now last until at least February 21, 2021.
Update on the Canada-US border: We’ve extended the current border measures by another 30 days. Non-essential travel between our two countries remains restricted until at least February 21st. We’ll continue to do whatever is necessary to keep Canadians safe.
