TOWN OF CLARENCE, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Town of Clarence announced Friday it will reopen the baseball, soccer and football fields as well as basketball courts. Playgrounds remain closed at this time.

Officials remind individuals who plan to use the facilities that are reopening to practice social distancing and wear proper PPE.

Once the Western New York region reaches Phase Four of the New York Forward program, the town says pavilion bookings will be taken and the town park clubhouse and legion hall will reopen.

The town offices will reopen next week but officials say they encourage appointments and masks must be worn in all town departments.

Officials say the town is allowing restaurants to apply for an outside dining temporary permit due to COVID-19 and the fee is being waived. Restaurants can find the application on the Town of Clarence website or call (716) 741-8933.
