GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WKBW) — Home assessments are on hold on Grand Island.
The town board has decided to postpone assessments for a year because of the COVID-19 crisis.
The town says it is not necessary for homeowners to have informal discussions with the town's appraisal firm at this time.
The Town of Cheektowaga is still considering putting its 2020 reassessments on hold. 7 Eyewitness News has reached out to the town for an update but has yet to hear back.
