BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Tops Friendly Markets is giving temporary raises to many of its employees for all their hard work during this COVID-19 crisis.
Effective Sunday, full time hourly associates will receive an additional $1.00 per hour.
Part time hourly associates will receive an additional 50 cents per hour.
This pay raise will be in effect until April 18, although Tops will continue to monitor the situation and potentially adjust the time frame if necessary.
Many other grocery store chains and big box retailers are also providing pay hikes to their employees during this coronavirus pandemic.
