BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The McGuire Group health care facilities have confirmed positive cases of the Coronavirus at three facilities, and are cohorting them at Garden Gate Health Care Facility, Harris Hill Nursing Facility and Seneca Health Care Center.
The company’s two other facilities, Autumn View Health Care Facility and Northgate Health Care Facility, do not have any cases.
As of today, there are:
- 42 positive cases in-house at Garden Gate Health Care Facility
- 46 at Harris Hill Nursing Facility
- 23 at Seneca Health Care Center, of which a considerable number came from the hospital.
The McGuire Group said many of the confirmed positive cases are past the symptom stage and nearing a full recovery, and staff are continuously communicating with residents and their family.
In addition, RCA healthcare Management confirmed eight COVID-19 positive cases at one facility, Absolute at Aurora Park.
The company's other five facilities, Absolute at Orchard Brooke, Absolute Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Allegany, Absolute Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Three Rivers, Absolute Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Gasport, and Absolute Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Westfield do not have any cases.
The company said all families and responsible parties have been notified.
