AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — High Schoolers in the Sweet Home Central School District are taking initiative and helping bring a sense of normalcy to fellow students during these uncertain times.

Each day, members of the morning news group are producing morning announcements from their homes. Teacher Lisa LaBrake writes, "the kids are making feature segments to keep everyone uplifted."

This is the same group of students that participated in the Scripps News Literacy Program earlier this year.
