SUNY Cortland going remote after over 100 current positive COVID-19 cases

CORTLAND, N.Y. (WKBW) — Another SUNY school is going fully remote for at least the next two weeks after crossing the state's COVID-19 case threshold.

According to the SUNY COVID-19 tracker, SUNY Cortland currently has 101 positive cases of COVID-19 on campus.

The COVID-19 tracker indicates that 191 students are either in precautionary or mandatory quarantine.

Meanwhile, 89 students are isolating with 14 of those students isolating on campus.

Residence halls will stay open, but dining will change to takeout or delivery.

Over the last three days, 15 people were tested for COVID-19 with 11 of them testing positive, or a 73 percent positivity rate.
