BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is set to announce details of its "re-imagined" ride on Friday.
On Thursday, the head of the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation announced that the annual Ride for Roswell couldn't go on as the mass gathering that was planned for June 26 and 27. But, a "re-imagined plan" is set to be released on Friday.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the popular event, which features a number of bicycle rides to raise money for the cancer treatment center. To date, the Ride for Roswell has raised $1,186,068.85, with 3,340 riders.
