BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz has announced on Tuesday that he extended the local emergency order by five days.
The order went into effect at 3 p.m. , and may continue to be renewed in five day increments
Poloncarz first declared a State of Emergency in the Erie County on March 15 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said the county is still in a State of Emergency, and the need to mitigate COVID-19 transmissions continues.
