NEW YORK (WKBW) — As the state of New York begins to reopen under the New York Forward program and works to control and stop the spread of COVID-19, the state says each business must develop a written reopening safety plan.

The state says a business can fill out the template below or develop its own safety plan to fulfill the requirement.

"The plan does not need to be submitted to a state agency for approval but must be retained on the premises of the business and must made available to the New York State Department of Health (DOH) or local health or safety authorities in the event of an inspection," the state says.
