BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Evergreen Health and Community Health Services are bringing drive-through COVID-19 testing to Buffalo's East side.
The new site will open May 20 at 3297 Bailey Avenue. Viral tests will be conducted outside by appointment only from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursdays.
Testing is free and open to the public.
Appointments can be made beginning Friday by calling Evergreen at 847-2441, option 7. While you will not need a prescription or referral to be tested, you will need proof of insurance when you schedule an appointment.
The testing facility is located in the 14215 zip code, which is home to a high number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County.
