LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara County Department of Health is partnering with the Kenan Center in Lockport to conduct point of dispensing operations throughout the month of February.
“We value our longstanding partnership with Kenan Center,” stated Daniel J. Stapleton Public Health Director. “We have conducted five PODs at Kenan Center Arena so far and plan to conduct many more throughout the month of February,”
he added.
“We have transitioned from drive-through to indoor PODs for the colder months, which has been very successful as we have completed over 2,600 vaccinations at Kenan Center Arena while also meeting functional needs of participants,” stated Elise Pignatora, Director of Public Health Planning and Emergency Preparedness.
The Niagara County Department of Health says it has provided over 4,800 first dose vaccinations and 950 second dose vaccinations so far.
