BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — People and companies all across Western New York are finding ways to say "thank you" to our health care workers.
On Thursday, Zoladz Construction donated 350 lunches from Dinosaur Bar-B-Que to the front-line health care workers at the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC).
“Given what health-care workers are facing and responding to so magnificently across our region, we felt this gesture of support reflects how we all feel about them,” said Zoladz CEO John Zoladz. “ECMC’s hundreds of staffers go to work each day to save people’s lives and their mission and expertise is even more needed in this pandemic. We want to recognize in a small way their professionalism, courage and dedication when Western New Yorkers need it most.”
And the giving doesn't end there, in the coming weeks the Alden based construction company will also be donating lunches to workers at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston and Kenmore Mercy in the Town of Tonawanda.
