BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has postponed the JoAnn Falletta International Guitar Concerto Competition. The competition, which was scheduled from June 3-5, is being pushed back because of the coronavirus.
“It is with a heavy heart that we made the decision to postpone the Competition," JoAnn Falletta, music director of the BPO and the namesake of the competition said in a statement. "We look forward to a time when we can again welcome them to Buffalo.
