BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Cabin fever may be setting in because of the COVID-19 pandemic, especially with the kids home from school.

One way to enjoy some fresh air and the great outdoors is by visiting a park.

Officials are encouraging people to get outside, but do it with common sense.

City officials here in Buffalo say playgrounds, basketball courts and athletic fields are off limits.

The orange rims on the basketball courts have been removed in city parks to keep people from gathering to play games.

City leaders say passive users of parks should practice safe social distancing.
