ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — Visitors to the HoliMont ski resort and residents of Ellicottville are being warned that they may have been exposed to a positive case of COVID-19.
According to the Cattaraugus County Public Health Director, an Essex County woman visited the area from March 3rd to March 8th as a spectator for the "MSG U14 NY State Championship", a youth skiing competition held at HoliMont.
The unidentified woman later developed symptoms and was tested. The test came back positive.
If you believe you were exposed to this person, the County Health Department is asking you to follow CDC guidelines, call your health care provider and self-quarantine.
