ALBANY, N.Y. (WKBW) — Governor Andrew Cuomo is again announcing a mandated workforce reduction-- this time to 25%. While the 25% rule is a mandate, the state is also encouraging employers to have all employees work from home.

This comes a day after Governor Andrew Cuomo told employers to reduce on-site workforces by 50%. This is to try and slow the spread of coronavirus, which now sits at 4,152 in New York State.

This statewide mandate does not impact essential services.
