BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County Department of Health is sending emails to those whose COVID-19 vaccination appointment was canceled.
County Executive Mark Poloncarz and the health department both tweeted Monday evening that anyone whose appointment was canceled between January 18 and February 1 would receive an email Tuesday rescheduling their appointment.
.@ECDOH is rescheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments that were cancelled due to lack of supply. It will send emails over next 24 hours to people with cancelled appointments, beginning from Jan 18. In an update posted to the health department's website Monday, the department asks anyone awaiting a new appointment time not to call, as they can expect to receive an email from the department.
Rescheduled appointments will be for the same time and place as the original appointment.
