BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Erie County isn't making the grade when it comes to social distancing.
According to data compiled by the site Unacast, Erie County gets a C when it comes to how well people are embracing the idea of social distancing. Experts believe social distancing is one of the most effective ways to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Erie County Executive, Mark Poloncarz tweeted his dismay over the findings on Wednesday, saying "Please be better people!"
This is NOT good: Erie County's social distancing is not getting better but in the last 10 days has gotten worse. If we do not stay away from others we will not #FlattenTheCurve. That means more people will get sick and die. Please be better people!https://t.co/CM34gvUuqs pic.twitter.com/FPSzpS0rc6
