D’Youville School of Pharmacy to offer COVID-19 rapid tests to the public

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The D’Youville School of Pharmacy announced it will offer COVID-19 rapid antigen tests to the public beginning February 11.

Testing will take place in the lobby of the D’Youville Academic Center at 242 Fargo Avenue in Buffalo Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The test will cost $39 and no insurance or prescription is necessary but you must register for a time here. Photo identification and masks are required.

D'Youville is using the Abbott BinaxNOW Rapid Ag test which uses a nasal swab, results will be available in as little as 15 minutes.

"Tests will be performed by licensed pharmacists or by licensed pharmacy interns from the D’Youville School of Pharmacy under supervision," a release says.

Your results will be emailed to you or can be accessed using the NAVICA app, which is available through the Apple Store or Google Play.
